Debi Harvey

Debi joined the Practice in 2001 and has for more than 21 years worked within a number of the UK’s leading turnaround and insolvency specialists. She has acquired wide ranging experience gained in the last recession with Ernst & Young and during a 2 years secondment to BIS. She qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner following her first time pass of the JIEB in 2004.

Debi heads up our Reading team and has worked on numerous assignments for organisations including major clearing banks, asset based lenders, factoring companies and venture capitalists whilst maintaining her strong relationship with local accountants, solicitors and the Thames Valley professional community.

Debi is known for delivering quality advice and providing practical solutions to difficult situations and she ensures that the client is provided with a clear solution to their problems. Having undertaken a broad range of assignments her experience spans a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, recruitment, retail, distribution, leisure industry, printing, media and recruitment to name but a few.

Debi’s background is predominantly in the formal side of corporate restructuring including exit planning, liquidations, voluntary arrangements and she has particular strengths in respect to pre packs, administration procedures and has acted as an expert witness.

When away from the office Debi enjoys time with her young son and husband and many years after her son’s arrival she still craves her pre child pampered life of travel and sleep!
